In 1951 the name Pelican was changed to Karbon. The name was selected after the factory’s most famous product – carbon paper. The factory, now under a new name, continued the existing manufacture of office and school supplies and packaging products including carbon paper, chalk, inks, watercolours and artist’s oil paints.

In 1967 the production plant was moved from Vlaška 67 to Zaprešić. From June 2001, the company continues operation under a new name – Karbon – Nova Ltd. The company was liquidated in 2012.
