This Austrian firm, founded in 1862, built a large coffee roasting plant in Zagreb in 1919. In the 1930s it also owned a liqueur factory at Vodnikova 16 in Zagreb.

In 1931 the firm had its own sales outlets at these Zagreb addresses: Jelačić Square 5, Ilica 84, Kvaternik Square 2, Draškovićeva Street 42 and Marovska 21.
