Iskra Ltd. of today is the successor of Iskra company founded in 1868 in Zagreb. The company produced a variety of chemical products: candles, floor polish, shoe polish, etc. One of the best-known products was the top-quality Gladis shoe polish packed in popular tins of recognizable design.

Today Iskra manufactures decorative candles for the Swedish firm Ikea, which are in demand on the domestic and foreign markets.
