Wander Ltd. was a daughter company of the world-famous concern in Bern founded by Swiss Chemist Dr Georg Wander. The factory’s principal product was Ovomaltine.

On 2nd October 1929, a new large factory with Wander’s products opened in Zagreb, Borongajska 48 under the name of Dr A. Wander Ltd. It was the first Croatian factory for pharmaceutical and diabetic products that were marketed all over the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. After World War II the company was nationalised and the name was changed to Jugodijetetika. In 1969 it was integrated with Pliva.
